Students enrolled in the Master Esthetics programs do not need to enroll in this laser certification, as this curriculum is already included in the 1200 & 750 Hour Master Esthetics programs.

The Institute of Medical Aesthetics is pleased to be able to offer Laser Certification, with leading edge instruction in laser hair removal training, skin rejuvenation & body sculpting.

Our Advanced Laser Certification gives estheticians and medical professionals the knowledge and skills needed to work in the medical aesthetics field. In this new economy, employers are looking for talented skin care consultants that can do more than just offer relaxing services.

Who is eligible to take these trainings?

The Advanced Laser Certification Course is available to licensed MD’s, NP’s, RN’s, Physicians Assistants and Master Estheticians. This 6 day course runs Monday – Thursday from 12-8pm and Friday/Saturday from 9-5pm (50 hours total). Tuition is $2,500, with a maximum class size of 8 students.

This is an excellent course for professionals who want to enter the field of non-invasive laser cosmetic services and will provide you with 43 PRESCRIBED CME credits from the AAFP. This extensive laser course is focused on hand’s on laser training and theory, but also includes a few hours of injections demonstrations (observation only) by our Medical Director for extremely discounted prices, with students of the course preferably receiving the injections. Students in the course are also encouraged to experience all laser services themselves, which is included for free.

All laser hair removal training and skin resurfacing classes are taught at The Institute of Medical Aesthetics @ Elase Academy. Students will be allowed to provide up to 12 models for the hands-on applications through out the week. Models will receive services drastically discounted for the cost of the application.
